Beetroot is not only tasty but also contains several important nutrients. It is rich in folic acid, B6, potassium and above all in nitrate, which has been shown to have many health-promoting properties.
Mix PLOG's beetroot powder into juices, smoothies, pre-workout drinks or baked goods. The beetroot's strong coloring adds a delicious color and enlivens both baked goods and cooking.
PLOG's Beetroot is grown in organic soil adjacent to the preparation and production facility at Hagavik farm in Trelleborg. Beetroot is harvested in the autumn and cleaned and washed immediately after it has been picked. It is then sliced to be dehydrated, at a temperature not exceeding 42°C. After dehydration, the beetroot is ground in special machines that produce a fine dried powder maximized with nutrients.
Recommended dose:
1-2 tablespoons per day.
Mix the powder into juice and smoothies, or as a flavoring in cooking and baking.
